The call to go is clear, but life is busy. Survival
and the lure of our culture pulls us away from God's
heart and mission needs. Take these measures to
feel His passion again and renew your mind with His TOP agenda.
Things
You Can Do So You Don't Forget the Unreached
- Spend time with Jesus, the greatest missionary ever. Read the
Gospels and ask God to make His life yours. Read or watch mission
stories.
- Pray daily for the Holy Spirit to fill your heart. That's what
Jesus said would take the Gospel to the whole world (Acts 1:8).
- Put up pictures of the unreached on your walls as reminders.
- Place challenging quotes and scriptures where you can memorize
them.
- Invite furloughing missionaries into your home, pamper them
and expand your understanding.
- Visit the Adventist Book Center (www.adventistbookcenter.com/)
for their latest in missions such as the "Front Line" Series, "Beyond
the Edge" and reprints of the great oldies by Eric B. Hare, Norma
Youngberg, etc. (Ask your Grandma for some from her collection)!

- Order the monthly "Adventist
Frontiers" magazine from 1-800-YES-4-AFM. They also have
excellent videos from the frontline.
- Get the "Mission" quarterlies for children or adults through
your local church, or at the General Conference (301) 680-5060 or www.adventist.org
under "Sabbath schools" where you can download the entire magazine.
- Write missionaries and other organizations listed here and ask
to be put on their personal newsletter mailing list.
- Go visit missionaries and countries with a few Christians on
your vacation.
- Get a free video or book from www.global-mission.org
or call (301) 680-6628.
- Read world news through the eyes of Jesus, the great Missionary.
- Ask God to place a specific unreached people group or work on
your heart, focus your prayers there.
